I use a very natural beauty regimen and most people tell me I look at least ten years younger than I really am. Here is what I do daily:
1. I never wear base make-up (really bad for the pores)
2. I only wash my face with warm water and a terry wash cloth, NEVER with soap or anything else.
3. I remove mascara and eye make-up with olive oil and a cotton pad or soft tissue, never with heavy cold creams.
4. I do not tan my skin and I make sure to wear a large brimmed hat if I am going to stay out in the sun for a long time.
5.. I eat a healthy and balanced organic diet.
6. I get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.
7. I slather Aloe Vera gel (very economical at $3.99 for 4 oz.) on my face, hands and throat at least once a day after washing. It not only prevents wrinkles, but is great at getting rid of fine lines quickly.
8. I use a natural lip balm containing jojoba oil and Vitamins E, A and C, which prevents aging of the lips.
I've tried the facial exercises, but it takes a lot of determination to stick with them for the rest of your life. They warn you in the books that the wrinkles will re-appear if you stop the exercises. If you would like to give them a try, the book Face Building is a really good resource.
CoQ10 is great stuff and is definitely worth a try. There are so many great natural products out there, and I tried many until I found what worked best for me. I hope you find what works best for you on your journey towards wrinkle-free bliss! Good luck. How can I reduce/prevent wrinkles? Do facial exercises really help reduce wrinkles?

Wow, there is some great info here, but also some terrible info.
Most Foundation is not harmful as long as you use a good one and remove it nightly.
Warm water will not remove dirt and grime and make-up Report Abuse
Aloe has little to no moisturizing properties. It's a soother. It does NOT prevent wrinkles.
Facial exercises are not a good idea. Wrinkles are caused by repetitive motion. Facial exercies are repetitive motion. Report Abuse

A must read: article reporting on the testing %26amp; evaluation of 9 wrinkle creams in Consumer Reports, Jan. 2007, pp. 12-14. None were terrific but Olay Regenerist, one of the lest costly products tested, was #1 pick. Report Abuse
You can actually prevent wrinkles by using body creams. Great article on preventing wrinkles:

I am an esthetician and it never ceases to amaze me how many people don't wash their faces. There is no reason why this one body part should just get splashed with water.
Find a cleanser appropriate to your skin type. I like Dermalogica, it's pricier than drug store brands, but worth it. (can be bought in salons or ordered on line) Cleanse and tone twice a day. Never sleep with make-up on. If you work up a sweat or get dirty/grimy during the day, cleanse right after you finish that chore.
If you have oily skin, you can skip the moisturizer as that's what your natural oils do. If you do need a moisturizer, look for one containing vitamins A, C, E. Definitely use an eye cream, this can also double as a lip cream.
Dr. Perricone http://www.nvperriconemd.com/ author of ';The Wrinkle Cure'; recommends a diet of fresh berries, melon, salmon, almonds, all foods containing anti-oxidants.
As I said, I like Dermalogica, but there are other good brands. There is an annual list that ranks professional and non-professional skin care products. Avon consistently tops the non-professional category.
I don't know about the facial exercises, but it seems to me that they would have the same effects as all other facial movement, to create expression lines.
Of course, minimize sun exposure.
never go into the sun,
only go out at night
dont lift your eyebrows when surprised
try not to smile or frown that often
use moisterizers
dont smoke
drink hella h20
wash face before sleeping
Loreal and Oil of Olay have economical choices. I use Lancome and I do notice a difference. There are some super dooper ones out there but, they are very pricey.
