I know this sounds crazy, but has anyone ever heard of using egg whites to help facial wrinkles?

my mom, after beating some eggs, used to get the egg shells and spooned out the rest of the egg whites straight to her face while she was in the kitchen.. now that's what you call an instant kitchen facial.. lol.. truly, it has been an age-old beauty treatment..I know this sounds crazy, but has anyone ever heard of using egg whites to help facial wrinkles?
Yep... the proteins are great! The smell makes me gag though.

Egg Facials

Facials with egg help smooth and nourish your skin and give you a youthful glow. Try any of these three routines:

1) Using a cotton puff, apply egg white to your face and let it dry for up to 30 minutes. Splash off with lukewarm and then cold water.

2) Beat an egg white until stiff. Add one teaspoon of honey. Stir together. Then fluff onto your face. After 30 minutes, splash off with tepid and cold water.

3) Beat the whites of four eggs with one grain of alum (available at drug stores) until stiff. Now apply all over your face and throat and let remain on for about one hour. Splash off with warm and cold water.I know this sounds crazy, but has anyone ever heard of using egg whites to help facial wrinkles?
yes..it helps tighten the pores.

Egg facials are good for toning skin, firming skin for a less wrinkled appearance and making skin less prone to sagging. Egg facials have been used for years.
